Schierker Kuhball
Every year at the end of September, the traditional Schierker Kuhball invites all Schierker and its guests.
Almost 30 years ago, the Schierker Kuhball was toasted for the first time with beer and fresh Harz milk on the wild and romantic meadows at the Schierker Quesenbank. Since then, the local festival has become an integral part of the event calendar and, alongside Walpurgis and the Schierker Musiksommer, is one of the highlights of the climatic health resort. The cow ball is always celebrated on the last Saturday in September as a symbolic end to the summer.
